I'm currently working on an AV Installation Engineer opportunity based in SW19, London, offering a salary of £40,000-£45,000.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business delivering high-quality commercial AV, lighting and integrated technology solutions across a wide range of sectors throughout the UK.
The role will involve:
- Installing lighting and audio-visual solutions, including video walls, PA systems and meeting room systems.
- Ensuring high standards of workmanship and attention to detail on every project.
- Setting up structured cabling and IT networks, including WiFi solutions.
- Configuring control systems.
- Supporting the development of an apprentice engineer.
To be considered, you'll ideally have:
- 3+ years working with AV equipment in a commercial environment.
- The ability to read and interpret elevation drawings, schematics and plans.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
- Excellent practical and construction skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A full UK driving licence is essential as the role involves travel to customer sites across the UK, mostly around the London area. There will be regular overnight stays where required, with travel and accommodation expenses covered.
