- £18.55 per hour (PAYE)
- £24.43 per hour (Umbrella)
The Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Audio Visual Technician to join a busy local authority team based in Wembley. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on AV professional who enjoys a varied role and delivering high-quality technical support in a client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain audio-visual equipment across a range of venues and events
- Support sound, video, lighting, and networking requirements
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Provide on-site support for meetings, conferences, and events
- Ensure all equipment is maintained to a high standard
- Work flexibly, including occasional out-of-hours work as required
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including working at heights and manual handling
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a genuine passion for audio-visual technologies
- Demonstrate a positive, flexible “can-do” attitude
- Be a strong problem solver with attention to detail
- Have experience in at least one core AV area:
- Sound
- Video
- Lighting
- Networking
- Ideally have experience within an in-house venue or AV supplier environment
- Be confident working in a client-facing role
- Be physically capable of heavy lifting and working at heights
