Lynx Recruitment is working with a leading technology organisation seeking an AWS Infrastructure & Application Support Engineer to join their Support & Operations team.
You’ll provide L2/L3 support across cloud-based applications and AWS infrastructure, ensuring the performance, stability, and reliability of critical systems. This role involves troubleshooting complex issues, supporting deployments, and working closely with engineering teams and clients. An on-call rota is included.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support for AWS applications and infrastructure
- Own and resolve incidents end-to-end
- Troubleshoot across application, infrastructure, and data layers
- Monitor systems and respond to alerts
- Support deployments and production changes
- Work with internal teams, clients, and third parties
- Follow ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change)
Essential Skills
- Strong AWS experience (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM)
- Experience supporting production cloud systems
- Strong troubleshooting and monitoring skills
- Experience analysing logs and data
- Background in Support / Operations
Desirable
- ITIL knowledge
- Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Terraform / CloudFormation
- CI/CD, DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes
