Behaviour Mentor – Home Tuition | Kensington & Chelsea
£17 per hour | 25 hours per week | September 2026 Start
Reeson Education is looking for an experienced Behaviour Mentor to support a secondary-aged student with Autism (ASC) through a home tuition package in the Kensington & Chelsea area.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to a young person's education by building a positive relationship, supporting emotional regulation and helping them engage with learning in a one-to-one environment. You will work alongside the student's dedicated tutor, providing behavioural and pastoral support to help the learner access their education successfully.
The Role
- September 2026 start
- 25 hours per week
- £16 – £17 per hour
- Home-based tuition in Kensington & Chelsea
- Working alongside the student's tutor during tuition sessions
- Supporting a secondary-aged learner with Autism (ASC)
- Helping to build confidence, emotional regulation and positive engagement with learning
- Working collaboratively with the family, tutor and Local Authority
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience working as a Behaviour Mentor, Learning Mentor, Youth Worker or similar
- Experience supporting young people with SEMH, SEND or Autism (ASC)
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
- The ability to build positive, trusting relationships
- A calm, patient and resilient approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable
- Experience working within home tuition, outreach or alternative provision
- Team Teach training (desirable but not essential)
- Experience supporting learners with emotional regulation and anxiety
