Experienced in block management and looking for a fresh challenge within a growing independent agency?
We're recruiting for a Block Manager in Kensington to join a successful and expanding property business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced block management professional to take ownership of a varied portfolio while working within a supportive and forward-thinking team.
The Role
As a Block Manager, you will:
- Developing effective working relationships with Block Directors, Residents/Leaseholders, Landlords/Tenants, Contractors and others through phone, email & face to face liaison
- Carrying out inspections, ensuring Health Safety and compliance are maintained
- Resolving block-related issues
- Sourcing Contractors to undertake both ongoing and one-off maintenance works, as well as emergency repairs, and monitoring and managing their work
- Dealing with enquiries and analysing leases in order to answer enquiries and ensure that lease compliance is maintained
- Providing accurate, meaningful and effective information to all parties in a timely manner
Block Manager Requirements
- ARLA or equivalent recognised qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in block management
- Understanding of leasehold and property management legislation
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-focused approach
- Commitment to delivering high levels of client care
- Commercial awareness and a focus on operational efficiency
