We are currently recruiting for an experienced Booking Coordinator to join a busy hospital team in Bath.
The successful candidate must have previous experience working within a hospital setting, with a strong understanding of patient booking processes and NHS or private healthcare systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Booking and scheduling patient appointments and procedures.
- Managing clinic diaries and theatre lists.
- Liaising with consultants, clinical staff, and patients.
- Answering telephone and email enquiries professionally.
- Ensuring patient records and booking information are accurate and up to date.
- Working to strict confidentiality and data protection guidelines.
- Supporting the wider administrative team as required.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Booking Coordinator, Medical Administrator, Patient Access Officer, or similar hospital-based role.
- Experience working within a hospital environment is essential.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong IT skills and experience using hospital booking systems (such as PAS, Medway, Cerner, Lorenzo, or similar) is advantageous.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
