Bookkeeper / Payroll Assistant (Part-Time)

- £30,000 FTE (pro rata)
- 3 days per week
Due to continued growth and expansion, our client is looking to recruit a Bookkeeper / Payroll Assistant to join their friendly and fast-paced finance team in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a part-time role with flexibility and genuine progression opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing and updating invoices onto the system
- Managing and running weekly and monthly payroll
- Checking, reconciling, and submitting expenses/receipts
- Assisting with VAT returns
- Bank reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
- Supporting month-end processes
- Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Assisting with purchase and sales ledger duties
- Handling general finance administration
Requirements
- Has experience in bookkeeping and/or payroll
- Is organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
- Is comfortable working in a busy environment
- Has strong Excel and systems skills
- Can work both independently and as part of a team
