Our client, a well-established and friendly accountancy practice in Braintree, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and organised individual who enjoys working with a varied client base across multiple industries.
This is a part time role, flexible between 16-30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Review multiple client Xero accounts each quarter to ensure accurate bookkeeping for VAT submission
- Carry out day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero, Dext, and Briefcase
- Prepare and submit VAT returns for bookkeeping clients
- Provide ongoing support to clients via phone and email
- Deliver Xero training and guidance where required
Ideal Candidate
- Experienced bookkeeper with strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Highly proficient in Xero
- Friendly, confident communicator with a professional approach
- Able to manage multiple workloads and deadlines
- Comfortable working independently as well as within a team

Initially this role is office based but will become hybrid after probation.
