Our client are a leading Builders Merchant proviidng building supplies to a mixture of trade and retail customers.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Branch Manager to join a small branch within the companies branch network.
This branch is in need of some help as it has been underperforming of late and there is a need to drive and generate sales. As this is not a large branch, the successful candidate will need to lead from the front and be actively involved and driving sales as well as being responsbile for the operational management of the branch.
This would suit someone who is already at Branch Management level and who feels that their role has become too operational for their liking. Equally an Assistant Branch Manager who is sales focused and looking to make the step up into Branch Management would also be successful in this role.
Due to the nature of the industry, current or very recent experience within a Builders Merchants is essential as you will need to have a strong understanding of the products, the pricing structures, and the market players in the sector.
