Job Title: Brickwork Trainer/Assessor
Location: East London – Centre based, with travel required for learner workplace visits
Salary: up to £56,000 (Salary depending on qualifications and experience & inclusive of location uplift)

Essential Criteria:
- Must hold a minimum of a Level 2 NVQ in Brickwork, coupled with extensive bricklaying experience.
- Must have worked on new-build developments, with 1st and 2nd fix experience.
- Must have experience of delivering Brickwork Apprenticeships or ‘on the job’ mentoring.
- Willingness to undertake the teaching and assessing qualifications – funded by the client.
- Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
- Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Duties:
- Teach/assess learners working towards Brickwork Apprenticeships, across practical and theoretical competencies.
- Ensure training materials are up to date and in-line with organisational and regulatory standards.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
- Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
- Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
- Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
