An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Building Surveyor to join an award-winning Chartered surveying practice, delivering a diverse range of projects across the public sector while progressing towards Chartered and Associate level through excellent training and long-term career development.

This award-winning Chartered surveying practice delivers projects for housing associations, local authorities, educational institutions, and health and leisure providers across London and the Southeast. As the business continues to expand into new sectors and invest in the next generation of Building Surveyors, they are looking to strengthen their growing team.
In this role, you will support the delivery of a wide variety of building surveying projects. You will prepare planning and building regulations applications, produce specifications and tender documentation, assist with contract administration, and carry out detailed surveys and investigations while working closely alongside experienced surveyors to further develop your technical expertise.
To be considered for this role, you should have previous Building Surveying experience, ideally within the social housing, residential, education, or wider public sector. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, as the role involves regular site visits across London and the Southeast.

The Role:
- Undertake site inspections and surveys
- Prepare planning and building regulations applications
- Produce specifications, tender documentation, and tender analysis reports
- Assist with contract administration
- Manage projects including stock condition surveys and EPC programmes
The Person:
- Experience as a Building Surveyor
- Background within social housing, residential, education, or the public sector desirable
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Commutable distance to the office in Orpington
