Bureau Payroll Officer / Client Bookkeeper – Redruth – £27,000 – £34,000

A growing and highly regarded accountancy practice in Redruth is looking to recruit a Bureau Payroll Officer / Client Bookkeeper to join its friendly and collaborative team. With a bias towards payroll responsibilities (likely 60-70% payroll), the role will see you working with a diverse portfolio of clients.
You'll play a key role in delivering an efficient and professional bureau payroll and client bookkeeping service whilst building strong client relationships along the way.
Duties to include:
– Managing end-to-end payroll for a varied portfolio of clients, including year-end processes, -RTI submissions and auto-enrolment
– Preparing bookkeeping records and management accounts
– Completing and submitting VAT returns
– Liaising with HMRC to resolve payroll and taxation queries
– Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing ongoing support and advice
– Supporting the wider team with administrative duties and ad-hoc client work as required
For this role we are looking for an experienced payroll and bookkeeping professional with previous experience managing multiple client accounts, within an accountancy practice or bureau environment.
AAT qualifications would be advantageous, although candidates with strong practical experience will also be considered.
