Business Development Manager – Commercial Vehicles
West Midlands | £35,000 – £37,000 Basic + Commission + Company Car + Excellent Benefits
Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with a background in commercial vehicles, transport, automotive, fleet, truck or van sales?
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading commercial vehicle dealership group for a motivated and ambitious Business Development Manager to drive growth across the West Midlands region.
This role focuses on developing new and existing customer relationships, promoting a range of aftersales solutions including service contracts, maintenance agreements, parts sales and warranty packages for HGV and LCV operators.
The Role
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across the West Midlands
- Promote and sell service plans, maintenance contracts, warranty packages and parts solutions
- Develop relationships with fleet operators, transport businesses and commercial vehicle customers
- Grow revenue through aftersales products and long-term customer agreements
- Manage and develop existing key customer accounts
- Conduct regular customer review meetings and business development activity
- Work closely with operational teams to enhance customer satisfaction and retention
- Achieve agreed sales targets and KPI's
What We're Looking For
- Previous business development or sales experience within the commercial vehicle sector
- Experience selling aftersales products, service agreements, maintenance packages or warranty solutions would be highly advantageous
- Good understanding of the UK truck and van market
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Commercial awareness and a target-driven mindset
- Competent IT and Microsoft Office skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
