We?re supporting a growing subscription-led insights business in the automotive sector in their search for a Business Development Manager.
This is a modern, consultative sales role focused on building relationships, understanding customer challenges and converting opportunities into long-term subscriptions.
The role suits someone who enjoys full ownership of the sales process in a fast-moving, tech-led environment.
The role: ? Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through to close ? Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities ? Run discovery calls and product demonstrations via Microsoft Teams ? Understand client needs and position solutions in a consultative way ? Convert qualified opportunities into new subscription customers ? Work closely with marketing and leadership to improve messaging and approach ? Contribute to commercial strategy and growth activity
What we?re looking for: ? Experience in a full-cycle B2B sales or business development role ? Strong ability to run discovery conversations and close deals ? Confident communicating and building relationships remotely ? Consultative, solution-led approach rather than transactional selling ? Self-motivated, accountable and commercially driven ? Comfortable working in a growing, fast-paced environment
Nice to have: ? Experience in SaaS, subscription, data or insight-led businesses ? Interest in automotive or the wider automotive industry ? Exposure to startup or scale-up environments
