As a Business Development Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to Betting and Gaming clients worldwide, leveraging advanced data-driven and AI-powered solutions to unlock new revenue streams and enhance player engagement through collaboration with international cross-functional teams.

My client is a global software engineering firm with 6,000+ experts delivering data, analytics, cloud, and AI solutions across 20+ countries. It serves clients worldwide with deep industry expertise and a people-first culture, operating from 30+ locations including the US, UK, Europe, LATAM, India, and the UAE.

Description

As the Business Development Manager, you will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans focused on AI-driven data analytics solutions for player insights, game optimisation, fraud detection, and magnetisation.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with gaming studios, publishers, eSports organisations, and platform providers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives and decision-makers across the gaming ecosystem, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Lead complex sales cycles, including demos, proofs of concept, proposals, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Stay up-to-date with gaming industry trends such as cloud gaming, AI-driven game design, player behaviour analytics, AR/VR, blockchain/NFTs, and eSports.
  • Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and conferences, while contributing to marketing and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Actively hunt for new logos and leverage your industry network to build a robust sales pipeline.

Profile

The successful Business Development Manager candidate will have the following:

  • Demonstrable experience of experience in enterprise technology sales or IT consulting business development
  • Extensive experience of experience working with clients in the betting and gaming industry
  • Proven track record selling complex, high-value solutions to senior executives within the gaming or interactive entertainment sectors with strong understanding of industry-specific dynamics and key players.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud-related services, with proven expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure and AWS.
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker with the ability to work independently and execute account strategies effectively.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, global environments, with flexibility to travel and actively engage clients.

Job Offer

Salary – £90,000 – £123,000 base + uncapped comms

London office – flexible working
