Coaction Recruitment Ltd
Business Development Manager – IT Solutions for Education
£33,000 to £38,000 basic salary per annum plus commission (approx. £15k OTE per annum) and benefits including hybrid-working, 23 days holiday, pension, bonus, excellent training and development opportunities etc
My client is a very successful education-focused IT solutions provider, helping schools and Multi-Academy Trusts with IT support, cyber security, cloud and wider technology services. They are now looking for a driven Business Development Manager to open new doors and continue growing their presence across the North of England and Midlands.
The Business Development Manager will be new business-focused, so the role is ideal for a B2B sales professional who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and selling a proper solution rather than simply quoting a price.
Experience in technology-related or education sales would be highly useful, but is not essential. What matters most is strong B2B sales experience, confidence speaking with decision-makers, commercial drive and a genuine interest in technology.
Essential Skills:
- 2+ years in B2B sales
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solution/consultative selling experience
- Driving licence and access to a car every day
- Genuine ambition and drive to be successful
- An interest in technology and the ability to understand services such as IT support and cyber security
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a very supportive and rewarding organisation at an exciting time of growth across the business. The Business Development Manager will be required to attend the head office in Skelmersdale once per week.
