Business Studies Teacher
Prospero Teaching is working with a secondary school in the Yateley area to recruit a knowledgeable and engaging Business Studies Teacher (QTS) for a September start. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive school environment and contribute to a well-established department.
You will be responsible for delivering Business Studies across KS3 and KS4, helping pupils develop an understanding of key concepts such as enterprise, finance, and the wider business environment. The role would suit both experienced teachers and confident Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

The Role:
- Teach Business Studies across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and deliver engaging and structured lessons
- Support pupils in developing commercial awareness and analytical thinking
- Assess and monitor student progress
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement
- Contribute to departmental planning and collaboration
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Follow safeguarding and school policies consistently
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies
- Experience teaching at secondary level or strong ECT placement experience
- Confident classroom practitioner or developing teaching practice
- Effective behaviour management skills
- Organised and committed to delivering high standards
- Suitable for experienced teachers and ECTs
Contract Details:
- Position: Business Studies Teacher (QTS)
- Location: Yateley
- Start Date: September
- Working Pattern: Full-time
- Pay Rate: £32,916 – £51,047 per annum (M1-U3)
- Key Stages: KS3-KS4
Experience, Training & Safeguarding:
- QTS required
- Secondary teaching experience preferred
- ECTs welcome to apply
- Safeguarding training can be provided
