They are a staple in the local community and some of their technicians have been there since the beginning. Benefits as a service technician car mechanic
- 30-32k basic salary depending on your diagnostics experience
- Overtime rate of x1.5 for your Saturday hours – an extra 2k per year

Due to expansion they are recruiting for a vehicle service technician, you will be:-
- Based from their workshop in Watford
- Working 8.30am till 5.30pm Monday to Friday, and every other Saturday morning (8am till 1pm – this is paid as overtime)
- Servicing and repairing cars and vans, using computer diagnostics machines to faulty find and then repairing the fault
Skills / experience needed to be a service technician car mechanic
- Living within travelling distance to Watford in Hertfordshire
- Ideally have 5+ years working as a car mechanic / technician doing electrics and diagnostics
- Having MOT experience would be beneficial but is not essential
- You need to have a high standard of work and be ideally qualified to NVQ level 3 standard as a minimum
- You must see this job as a long term prospect as they are looking for another long term employee
