Are you a passionate Careers Advisor with a Level 6 qualification in Careers Guidance & Development? Do you thrive on helping young people unlock their potential and take confident next steps into education, employment or training?
We’re looking for a driven and inspiring Careers Advisor to deliver high-quality, impartial careers guidance and play a key role in shaping meaningful futures.
What you’ll be doing
- Delivering 1:1 careers guidance that empowers learners to make informed, ambitious choices
- Supporting students with CVs, applications, personal statements and interview preparation
- Coordinating work experience placements and meaningful employer encounters
- Delivering engaging workshops, lessons, and careers activities
- Contributing to a dynamic careers programme aligned with the Gatsby Benchmarks
- Using up-to-date labour market information to guide and inspire learners
- Tracking progress and maintaining accurate careers records
What we’re looking for
- Level 6 (or higher) Careers Guidance & Development qualification – essential
- Experience delivering careers guidance to young people
- Strong understanding of education, employment and apprenticeship pathways
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships
- Organised, proactive, and passionate about student success
- A commitment to supporting learners of all backgrounds, including those with additional needs
