Caretaker / Premises Officer Opportunities – Secondary School Settings
We are working with a number of busy secondary schools seeking reliable and proactive Caretakers / Premises Officers to help maintain safe, secure and well-presented school environments.
These roles are ideal for individuals with experience in caretaking, facilities, or site management who enjoy a varied, hands-on position and take pride in creating a positive environment for staff and students.
What’s on offer:
- Full-time, permanent positions (52 weeks)
- Typically 37 hours per week

Key responsibilities include:
General site maintenance and minor repairs
Maintaining site security and ensuring health & safety compliance
Supporting or supervising premises staff and external contractors
Carrying out statutory checks, inspections and supporting first aid arrangements
About you:
- Experience in a caretaking, maintenance or facilities role
- Practical, proactive and able to problem-solve independently
- Understanding of health & safety standards
- Reliable, organised and able to manage a varied workload
