Caretaker Required – Primary School, Grimsby

Contract: Temporary (with potential to become permanent)
Hours: 7-9am 3-5.30pm daily.
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking School Caretaker to join a friendly primary school in Grimsby on an immediate basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- General tidying and upkeep of the school site
- Sweeping and maintaining outdoor and indoor areas
- Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly
- Carrying out routine checks of the premises to ensure safety and cleanliness
- Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school site
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A practical, hands-on approach to work
- Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Reliability and punctuality
- Previous caretaker or site experience (desirable but not essential)
