Essential Requirements
- Valid Enhanced DBS check
- Registered on the DBS Update Service
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (Food Safety in Catering)
- Right to work in the UK
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Role Overview
We are seeking reliable and professional Catering Staff to support food preparation and service across various school sites. The role requires a strong commitment to food safety, hygiene, and safeguarding, particularly when working in environments involving children or vulnerable adults.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food
- Serve food and beverages in a safe, friendly, and professional manner
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchens and service areas
- Follow food safety regulations and company procedures at all times
- Support setup and breakdown of catering areas and equipment
- Work effectively as part of a catering team to ensure smooth service
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and professional conduct standards
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or food service
- Experience working in schools
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
