The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Encourage pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
- Help manage behaviour positively and consistently.
- Promote independence while providing appropriate support tailored to individual needs.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential).
- Is patient, empathetic, and resilient.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Is committed to creating a positive learning environment.
