Hawke Search
My client is seeking a high-energy Channel Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across its unified communications and cloud solutions portfolio.
Based in Reading, this is a commercially focused channel role with responsibility for driving new partner acquisition, developing existing channel relationships, and growing revenue across a broad communications and cloud technology stack.
The ideal candidate will bring strong channel sales experience within unified communications and a solid understanding of the wider cloud communications ecosystem. This should include experience selling or developing partner-led revenue across UCaaS, cloud telephony, hosted voice, contact centre solutions, collaboration platforms, SIP, connectivity, CCaaS, and adjacent cloud-based managed services.
You will take ownership of your sales pipeline, identifying and converting new partner opportunities while maximising revenue from an established network of resellers, MSPs, and channel partners. Working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders, you will build partner engagement, support enablement, and develop joint go-to-market initiatives that deliver measurable commercial growth.
This role is well suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, partner-led environment and understands how to position unified communications not simply as voice, but as part of a broader workplace productivity, customer engagement, and cloud transformation proposition.
Requirements
- Proven experience in channel sales, partner development, or business development within unified communications, telecoms, cloud, or managed services
- Strong background in unified communications technologies including UCaaS, cloud telephony, hosted voice, collaboration platforms, SIP, connectivity, and contact centre solutions
- Experience working with channel partners, resellers, MSPs, distributors, and vendor-led partner programmes
- Good commercial understanding of broader cloud and as-a-service solutions, including SaaS, managed services, and recurring revenue models
- Demonstrable track record of delivering revenue growth, margin expansion, and partner-led pipeline generation
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and forecasting capability
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or NetSuite
