An established and growing charity is seeking an experienced senior leader to join its Executive Team.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across a diverse portfolio of services supporting young people, families and communities. This is an opportunity to lead experienced managers, drive service excellence, build strong partnerships and help shape the future direction of a well-respected organisation with a strong track record of social impact.
The Role You will oversee a range of services including youth support, family services, wellbeing programmes and community development initiatives, ensuring they deliver outstanding outcomes for beneficiaries whilst meeting contractual, quality and financial targets.
Working closely with the Chief Executive, you will:
- Lead and develop service managers and operational teams.
- Drive performance across multiple programmes and contracts.
- Ensure KPIs, quality standards and budgets are achieved.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with funders, commissioners and partners.
- Oversee safeguarding, governance and service quality.
- Monitor performance, impact and organisational outcomes.
- Support the development of new opportunities and service growth.
- Deputise for the Chief Executive when required.
About You We're looking for an experienced senior leader who has successfully managed multiple services within the charity, social impact or public sector.
You must have experience managing services within areas such as youth services, wellbeing, community development, employability, family support, criminal justice or similar social impact programmes.
You'll be an effective leader who can support managers, build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure services consistently achieve excellent outcomes.
Ideally, you will also have:
- An understanding of secondary education and education funding systems.
- Knowledge of statutory services, family support and mental health services.
- An understanding of Early Years provision and Ofsted frameworks.
