Children & Families Lawyer needed in Manchester Paying £55 per hr ref 000B 1C7A / 1
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of children’s social care legal matters, including care proceedings, pre-proceedings, and adoption
- Provide clear, timely, and practical legal advice to Children’s Services and senior managers
- Represent the authority in court proceedings, case conferences, and hearings
- Draft legal documents, applications, and reports to a high professional standard
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and guidance
- Work collaboratively with social workers, guardians, barristers, and other professionals
- Contribute to service development and continuous legal and service improvement
