Registered Manager – Children’s Home (EBD)

Are you an experienced and passionate Registered Manager looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated leader to oversee a children’s residential home in Leiston, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
The Role
As the Ofsted Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and outcomes for children and young people.
You will lead and inspire a team to create a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment that promotes stability, personal growth, and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Register with Ofsted as the Home’s Registered Manager
- Ensure full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards
- Lead, develop, and support a dedicated care team
- Deliver high-quality care plans tailored to individual needs
- Maintain strong relationships with local authorities, families, and external professionals
- Drive continuous improvement and achieve positive inspection outcomes
- Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and quality assurance processes
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager (or Deputy ready to step up) within children’s residential care
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and EBD services
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- A genuine passion for improving the lives of young people
- Full UK driving licence
