Claims Handler – Kings Hill, Kent
2 days office – 3 days home.
£15.85 per hour – Temp to Perm
You'll be managing public liability claims from first notification through to resolution, working directly with policyholders, claimants, and third parties to get a fair outcome.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing a caseload of public liability claims end to end
- Assessing liability and reviewing evidence to determine next steps
- Liaising with solicitors, loss adjusters, and third parties where needed
- Keeping claimants updated and records accurate throughout
- Identifying potential fraud or inconsistencies and escalating appropriately
What you'll need:
- Previous experience in insurance claims, legal, or a similarly detail-driven role
- Strong written and verbal communication – you'll be explaining decisions to people who don't want to hear them, as much as good news
- Comfortable working to deadlines and SLAs
- Good working knowledge of MS Office; claims systems experience is a bonus, not a must
