Meraki Talent’s big boutique insurer client, is actively looking for a Claims Manager (Motor/Automative), reporting to the Head of, acting as their 2ic. The role will be responsible for the oversight of all first party teams within claims and play the primary role in owning insurer relationships, acting as an escalation point. This role would suit someone who perhaps works for a large insurer, looking for more breadth and ownership, someone looking for career progression, or someone who simply doesn’t want to be siloed in their current role.
Responsibilitiesof the Claims Manager (Motor/Automative):
– Owning first party insurer services – Strategic operational team leadership, driving performance – Client relationship ownership, acting as a senior point of contact for partners – Operational excellence, ensuring consistent compliance with FCA and consumer duty – Management information Oversight – Team development
Background of the Claims Manager (Motor/Automative):
– Extensive experience working directly within claims management is essential – Strong people management skills are essential, with strong development skills – Experience working within the motor/automative industry (Or directly aligned) is essential – Understanding of FCA guidelines and legislation, especially consumer duty within claims – Strong client relationship management skills – Strong reporting and MI skills
