Class 1 Drivers needed – Immediate starts
Rapier Employment are currently recruiting Class 1 drivers to join our well-established company based in Oxford. The company will be relocating to Bicester as of August 2026.
Shift options available – If you are looking for Monday to Thursday working pattern with occasional Fridays, or looking for a day or two through the week, this could be ideal for you.
** You will have held your licence (Cat C+E) for 12 months to be accepted for this role **
Pay: 17.31 – £18.34 per hour
Role: Class 1 Driver
Hours: PM starts available – start windows between: 14:00-18:00, 18:00-22:00 & 22:00-02:00 depending on requirements. Some flexibility required between start window.
Job role:
- Work anywhere between 1 to 4 days a week (Monday to Thursday)
- Trunking collecting parts from 3rd party companies and delivering back to site
- No loading or unloading required
- Runs can vary from 1-2 depending on runs/collections (8 hours guaranteed minimum per shift)
- Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
- Maintain accurate electronic records via the tablet
- Daily start times from site
Requirements:
- Full UK licence (C+E)
- CPC card
- Digi card
- Held C+E for 12 months
