We are currently recruiting for LGV (C+E) Drivers, to join our busy and dynamic transport team in Mossend (Scotland).
You will be working for a leading logistics company and involved in ensuring that the some of the UK’s major retailers have sufficient stock to supply their customer's needs.
You will be contracted to work48 hoursper week on the shift pattern ofAny 4 or 5 from 7with start times across the 24-hour period.
Pay, benefits and more:
- Basic salary of £41,717 per annum with the potential to earn £48,563 with full shift allowance.
- Overtime rate of £25.07 per hour when working an additional shift or if 10-week average hours are higher than 480 hours.
- Additional Weekend rate of £4.47 per hour.
- 28 days Holiday Pay (inclusive of bank holidays) with an additional day after 1 year’s continuous service.

What you'll do on a typical day:
- Deliver goods to a variety of UK retailers in High Street or Retail Parks across Scotland.
- Ensure all documentation is completed and returned accurately at the end of each shift.
- Adhere to specific time restrictions given under current legislation.
- Support with loading and unloading and make sure empty cages and pallets are returned to the site.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with store staff and following all company policies and procedures.
What you need to be successful at GXO:
- Must hold a full EU licence with category C+E entitlement.
- A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
- Must hold Digital tachograph card.
- No more than 6 current penalty points on licence.
- No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD.AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years.
- Strong communication skills, particularly verbal, to develop good working relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Experience of multi drop collection and deliveries together with experience of working in a warehouse environment will be an advantage, although full training will be provided.
