HGV Class 1 Driver
Location: Erith Distribution Centre
Hours: 40-48 hours per week, worked over 4 or 5 days
Start Times: Between 04:00–07:00 or 11:00–15:00
Salary: £20.00 per hour, plus premium rates for weekend working
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our busy Distribution Centre in Erith.
This role will involve both single-drop and multi-drop deliveries to our cash and carry stores, as well as our retail partner stores. You will be driving Class 1 vehicles, and cage work will form part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of stock to our network of stores. This includes ensuring all delivery paperwork is completed accurately, carrying out vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift, and maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism at all times.
You will work independently on the road while also being part of the wider transport and distribution team.
What We’re Looking For
The successful candidate must hold a valid C+E Licence. Multi-drop delivery experience is preferred, and you should be comfortable with cage work.
Saturday working will form part of the shift pattern and will be discussed at interview. Weekend premium rates apply.
