Job Title: Night Class 2 Driver (New Pass Welcome)
Location: Yate
Salary: £41,700 per year
Job Type: Full-time
Shift Pattern: Night shifts (Generally a 0100am)
This role is ideal for someone who has recently passed their Class 2 licence and is looking for their first opportunity in the industry. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are more important than experience.
Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Night Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join our team in Yate. This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified drivers looking to start their career in the transport industry, with full support and ongoing training provided.
You will be delivering goods safely and efficiently while gaining valuable on-the-job experience with a professional and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out deliveries and/or trunking routes as required
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
- Complete vehicle checks before and after each shift
- Load and unload deliveries (training provided where required)
- Complete all delivery paperwork and use of handheld devices
- Follow all driving laws, Working Time Directive (WTD), and company procedures
- Maintain high standards of safety and customer service
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
- Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply (full training provided)
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work night shifts consistently
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
