About the Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we're supporting a long-established family-owned business within the construction materials sector as they look to recruit three additional Concrete Mixer Drivers across Middleton, Rossendale and Westhoughton.
This is a company with an excellent reputation for looking after its employees, with many members of the team staying for 16-17 years. Growth in demand and the launch of a new ready-to-use mortar product have created the need for additional drivers to support the existing workforce.

The Role
As a Concrete Mixer Driver, you'll be responsible for safely delivering ready-mix concrete to customers across the region. You'll be representing the business on customer sites, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time.
Responsibilities include:

Operating a Category C concrete mixer vehicle

Delivering ready-mix concrete to construction sites and customers

Carrying out daily vehicle checks

Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and presentation

Adhering to all health and safety procedures
-
Completing relevant delivery documentation
-
Providing excellent customer service on-site
-
Managing delivery schedules efficiently
Essential Requirements

Category C (Class 2) licence

Valid Driver CPC qualification

Digital Tachograph Card
-
Good driving record
-
Strong commitment to health and safety

Reliable and punctual approach

Comfortable dealing with customers
Desirable Experience

Concrete mixer driving

Tipper driving

Builders merchant experience

Construction materials distribution

Aggregates, logistics or plant experience
