Builders Merchant | Up to £38,000 + Bonus + Pension + HIAB Training
Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver / HGV Driver looking for a secure, long-term role with a leading Builders Merchant?
Our client is looking to recruit a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver to join their busy team, delivering building materials to trade and residential customers locally.
If you already hold a HIAB licence, that would be a major advantage. If not, don’t worry — the company is happy to provide full HIAB training, including paying for your HIAB test and licence, for the right person.
The Role:
- Driving a Class 2 / HGV vehicle
- Delivering building materials to local customers and sites
- Multi-drop deliveries in the local area
- Loading / unloading where required
- Providing excellent customer service
- Supporting the branch / yard team when needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Class 2 / Cat C / HGV Licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- Previous experience as a Class 2 Driver / HGV Driver / Delivery Driver
- Experience delivering for a Builders Merchant, timber merchant, plumbing merchant or similar would be highly desirable
- HIAB licence preferred, but not essential
- Good knowledge of safe loading, vehicle checks and delivery procedures
Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
- Saturday mornings: 8:00am – 12:00pm
Package:
- Basic salary up to £38,000 depending on experience
- Profit-share bonus
