Year 3 Teacher (KS2) – Rochdale
Salary: MPS (dependent on experience) Full time, term-time only
An inclusive and well-regarded primary school in Rochdale is seeking to appoint a Year 3 Teacher from September 2026 on a fixed-term basis until Christmas.

You will take responsibility for a Year 3 class, delivering a broad and balanced curriculum that engages and motivates learners. The school places value on creative teaching approaches, clear routines and positive relationships to support pupils' transition from Key Stage 1 into Key Stage 2.
You will be supported by an experienced leadership team and wider staff, with a clear focus on consistency, high standards and ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities – Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum – Support pupils' academic progress and personal development – Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment – Assess and track pupil progress effectively – Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff – Maintain strong communication with parents and carers – Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times.

The successful candidate will: – Hold Qualified Teacher Status – Demonstrate strong classroom management skills – Be committed to high standards of teaching and learning – Be reflective and eager to develop their practice – Have a positive, nurturing approach to supporting pupils – Be a team player who contributes to school life.
