Class Teacher – Bury
Salary: MPS (dependent on experience) Full time, term time only
A welcoming and community-focused primary school in Bury is seeking to appoint a dedicated Class Teacher from September 2026. This is a fixed-term role initially through to Christmas, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.

This role offers flexibility in terms of year group, with opportunities available across the primary phase depending on the successful candidate's strengths and experience.
As Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging teaching in line with the national curriculum. The school places a strong emphasis on creating a positive learning culture, where pupils are encouraged to take pride in their work and develop both academically and personally.
You will be supported by an experienced leadership team, with a focus on consistency, teamwork and continuous improvement in teaching practice.
Key Responsibilities – Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons across your allocated key stage – Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment – Support pupils' academic progress and personal development – Assess and monitor progress, adapting teaching accordingly – Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff – Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and the wider school community – Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times.
