Class Teacher – Bury

Salary: MPS (dependent on experience) Full time, term time only

A welcoming and community-focused primary school in Bury is seeking to appoint a dedicated Class Teacher from September 2026. This is a fixed-term role initially through to Christmas, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.

As Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging teaching in line with the national curriculum. You will be supported by an experienced leadership team, with a focus on consistency, teamwork and continuous improvement in teaching practice.

Key Responsibilities – Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons across your allocated key stage – Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment – Support pupils' academic progress and personal development – Assess and monitor progress, adapting teaching accordingly – Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff – Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and the wider school community – Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times.
