Supply Teacher – Daventry & Rugby
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and experienced qualified teacher to join our team of supply staff, supporting a range of welcoming primary schools across Daventry and Rugby.
This role involves providing cover for staff absence, sickness, and training courses across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. We are looking for a dedicated professional who can quickly build positive relationships, adapt to different classroom environments, and deliver engaging lessons that support pupils' learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Follow lesson plans provided by the school to ensure continuity of learning
- Identify pupils who may benefit from additional support or small-group interventions
- Establish clear routines and expectations within the classroom
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and pupil engagement
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching within a primary school setting
- Is flexible, reliable, and adaptable
- Can confidently teach across KS1 and KS2
- Has excellent classroom management skills
- Is passionate about supporting children's educational progress and wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
