Class Teacher – Mat cover
Academics is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in East Sussex on a full-time maternity cover contract starting in September.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community and make a positive impact on pupils' learning and development throughout the academic year. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons, maintaining high expectations, and creating a positive learning environment where all children can thrive.
The Role
- Full-time KS2 teaching position.
- Maternity cover contract commencing in September.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing effective feedback and support.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
