Job Title: Cleaner
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Location: Shoreditch, London
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Cleaner to help maintain a high standard across a residential development in Shoreditch. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the estate remains clean, safe, and well-presented at all times, while delivering excellent customer service to residents and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the site.
This is a hands-on role involving estate upkeep, waste management, cleaning duties, and general site support.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all bin stores are kept clean and tidy on a daily basis
- Disinfect bin stores weekly, including jet washing four times per year
- Move bins for scheduled collections and return them after collection
- Break down and dispose of bulk waste where appropriate
- Sweep and maintain cycle stores on a weekly basis
- Sweep and clear car parks weekly
- Keep courtyards and communal areas clean and presentable
- Carry out litter picking across the estate
- Empty litter bins regularly
- Sweep leaves and debris from all external areas
- Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the estate

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Good attention to detail
- Proactive approach to tasks and problem-solving
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
