Cleaner
Location: EX10 9TE
Pay Rate: £13.69 per hour PAYE
Hours: Saturday to Wednesday, 7:30am – 3:30pm
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to help maintain high standards of cleanliness across public buildings and facilities.
This is a hands on role where you'll be responsible for ensuring communal areas, washrooms and other facilities are kept clean, safe and presentable for residents, staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning offices, communal areas and public facilities
- Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
- Cleaning and sanitising washrooms and replenishing supplies
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Dusting and wiping surfaces
- Reporting maintenance issues, damages or health and safety concerns
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly
- Working as part of a team to maintain high cleanliness standards
Requirements
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good timekeeping and attendance record
- Able to carry out physical duties, including standing and lifting where required
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience would be beneficial but is not essential
- Understanding of health and safety procedures is advantageous
