We are looking for an enthusiastic officer to support the Waste & Cleaner Street's Manager with the preparation and monitoring of financial accounts and expenditure. The post holder will also assist the service in developing strategies and policies which contribute towards service standards.
Experience in grant administration, Performance Indicators, costs and administration would be desirable but a flexible approach to daily work demands and adjusting to new priorities is essential. A knowledge of the waste data flow system for reporting of data is desirable.
There is occasional contact with the general public and other council departments to resolve issues and it is necessary to work in a flexible manner to cater for the needs of the service.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
The council's Hybrid Working Policy applies to this post. This provides a framework for establishing how you will undertake working hours between your home and the office.
