REED are proud to be working in partnership with a well-regarded independent school in Cambridge, who are seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cleaning professional looking to step into a supervisory role within a supportive, high-quality educational environment.
The Role
As Cleaning Supervisor, you will lead and support a team of cleaning staff to ensure the school site is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the cleaning team
- Ensuring all areas of the school are cleaned to a high standard
- Monitoring performance and providing training and guidance where required
- Managing cleaning schedules, stock control, and equipment
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and COSHH regulations
- Supporting with hands-on cleaning duties where necessary
About You
- Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a supervisory or team leader role
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to standards
- Knowledge of health & safety and cleaning best practices
- A proactive and reliable approach
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
