Job Title: Client Account Manager
Salary: Up to £32,000
Location: Huddersfield
Our client is currently looking to expand the internal sales team and hire and experienced account manager to join the team. This is a critical role building lasting relationships with existing customers and also having the ability to maximise accounts by promoting additional services.
Job Purpose
The Account Manager will primarily be responsible for delivering multiple projects at anyone time. Working closely with clients and internal contacts, they will deliver a professional service to specifications and SLAs.
Delivering excellent customer service is key, so experience in this area is essential. Day to day there is a requirement to liaise with the sales and production teams, as well as allocated clients and suppliers, to be able to process orders efficiently, in line with the brief and client expectations.
This is a fast paced role where attention to detail is crucial. The Account Manager will need to be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and have the capability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Take brief from sales and clients and adhere to strict specifications and schedules
- Produce detailed job instructions for the production team
- Liaise with all internal departments to monitor progress of jobs
- Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders including clients and suppliers
- Ensure invoicing procedures are followed
- Manage and fulfil client expectations
- Deliver excellent customer service to a multitude of clients
- Demonstrate initiative to address problems and find solutions
- Show a keen interest in learning and understanding all business processes and capabilities
- Identify opportunities to increase services provided to the client
- Work in-line with company procedures and compliance standards
Knowledge & Skills
- Experience working within a client services environment, directly engaging with clients
- Keen eye for detail
- Ability to work on more than one thing at once
- Strong prioritisation skills
- Experience working alongside an operational department is desired but not essential
- Have a ‘customer first’ attitude when delivering projects, going above and beyond the clients’ expectations
- Good commercial understanding
- Being a team player, supporting and sharing workload amongst the account management team
- Experience using the Microsoft Office suite
