Client Advisor – Veterans Support (Justice System)
Hybrid (travel to office as required)
Permanent / FTC (depending on your setup)
We are supporting an organisation delivering vital services to UK Armed Forces veterans who are at risk of, or already involved with, the Justice System.
This is a meaningful, front-line advisory role where you’ll provide initial support, guidance, and assessment to veterans, helping them access the right services at the right time.
The Role
As a Client Advisor, you will act as the first point of contact for referrals, ensuring veterans are engaged, assessed, and directed to the appropriate regional support.
This is a high-impact role requiring empathy, organisation, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- • Manage incoming referrals and update the case management system (Salesforce) accurately
- • Engage with veterans within 2 working days to begin the assessment process
- • Conduct initial assessments and gather key information
- • Obtain consent and validate proof of service
- • Allocate cases to the appropriate regional teams
- • Provide advice and support via helpdesk to veterans and stakeholders
- • Maintain accurate, compliant case records in line with GDPR
- • Identify any safeguarding or escalation points during conversations
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- • Experience supporting, advising, or guiding individuals
- • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality awareness
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- • Highly organised with strong administrative and CRM/database experience
- • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- • Empathy and understanding of ex-forces personnel and their challenges
- • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Desirable:
- • Understanding of the Justice System
- • NVQ Level 4 in Advice & Guidance
- • Experience using Salesforce
- • Resilient and adaptable approach
Additional Requirements
- • Enhanced DBS check
- • Police Vetting (NPPV2)
