Looking to take the next step in your Clinical Negligence career with a leading healthcare litigation team?
A highly regarded national practice is seeking a Clinical Negligence Associate (2+ PQE) to join its growing Leeds team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex defendant clinical negligence matters for a range of healthcare and insurance clients, while developing your expertise within a collaborative and specialist environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a broad caseload of clinical negligence claims on behalf of healthcare and insurance clients
- Assist on high-value and complex litigation alongside senior team members
- Prepare legal documentation, including pleadings, witness statements and case reports
- Advise clients on strategy, risk and case progression
- Support settlement negotiations, mediations and court proceedings
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Participate in networking, business development and team initiatives
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE in Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury or Insurance Litigation
- Strong technical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident managing files and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Commercially aware with a practical approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Motivated to develop within a specialist healthcare litigation practice
