Clinical Team Lead

Dee View Court Neurological Care Centre is a specialist neurological service in Aberdeen, providing expert neurorehabilitation and long term care for 44 residents with complex needs. The home offers a clinically led yet homely environment, where a skilled multidisciplinary team supports individuals with brain injuries and neurological conditions to maximise independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

Clinical Team Lead Contract

  • £20.28 to £22.36 per hour depending on experience
  • Contracted to 35.25 hours per week
  • Nightshift
  • Includes paid breaks and uniform
  • Paid PVG, pension provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview
As Clinical Team Lead, you will play a key leadership role within a specialist complex care environment supporting individuals with complex physical and neurological needs. Working closely with the wider management and clinical team, you will help maintain high standards of care delivery while supporting a safe, structured and professionally led service throughout the night.

This is a hands on clinical leadership role where you will support and guide the nursing and care team across your shift, helping create a calm, responsive and supportive environment for both residents and colleagues. You will lead by example, promote best practice and play an important role in maintaining strong clinical standards, effective communication and person centred care throughout the service.

You will oversee clinical care delivery, support care planning and risk management, monitor resident wellbeing and ensure accurate documentation and medication administration processes are maintained to a high standard. Responding to changing clinical needs, incidents and concerns, you will use your judgement and experience to support safe and effective decision making across the service.

Working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals, you will contribute towards a collaborative and clinically focused environment while supporting the ongoing development, confidence and performance of the wider team.

What We Are Looking For

  • Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN
  • Experience within a complex care, neurological or specialist clinical environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Confidence supporting and guiding clinical teams across shifts
  • Good understanding of clinical governance, safeguarding and risk management
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A calm, professional and compassionate approach
