Are you an adaptive CNC Engineer eager to learn and grow in the exciting world of engineering? We're seeking a passionate CNC Engineer to join our clients dynamic team on a permanent basis!
What You'll Do:
- Operate 2nd Operations machines safely, including thread-rolling (desirable), part markers, drill banks, depitching presses, torque testers, and deburrers.
- Confidently read and measure using micrometres, ensuring tight tolerances.
- Carry out first-off and job run inspections of parts to maintain our high-quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with your team to reduce scrap and improve efficiency, reporting directly to the Production Manager.
- Maintain machine efficiency to meet On Time Deliveries and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong understanding of aerospace standards.
- Experience in setting and running CNC machines, lathes, and manual machines.
- Proficiency with materials such as aluminium, stainless steels, and Inconel.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
- Excellent measurement skills with a keen eye for detail.
- A team player who communicates effectively to implement company policies and goals.
