My client, an industry leading aerospace engineering firm are currently seeking a CNC Machine Shop Operative to join their manufacturing team.
As a CNC Machine Shop Operative, you will work with a team producing precision-engineered components to exact specifications and strict quality standards using CNC turning, CNC Milling, manual turning, manual milling and drilling processes.
As a CNC Machine Shop Operative, you will:
- Operate and maintain CNC machines used in the production of components and products
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure components meet required tolerances
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
The successful CNC Machine Shop Operative will have:
- Experience of using CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Shift pattern
Mon-Thurs 6am-4.30pm and Fri 6am-2.30pm, (48 hours)
Due to the early start time, you will need a driving licence and access to your own vehicle to get to site.
