Have you recently completed a college course, apprenticeship or similar covering CNC Machining and are looking for an opportunity to join a world class business that can offer a wide variety of interesting work on different machines?
Do you want a role with an early/evening shift pattern with every other Friday off?
In this role you will be operating a wide range of CNC machines for a global manufacturer that works in the space and defence sector. Joining an experienced team, you'll be trained on different machines and become a technical expert.
This company are nationally recognised for the specialist work they do within the Aerospace, Space and Defence industries. With the quality of their work they have created a strong reputation for designing and building complete process solutions to the highest quality, providing customers with great efficiency.
This role would suit someone who recently finished a college course, apprenticeship or similar that covered CNC Machining who is looking to work for a world-class business that can offer interesting work.
The Role:
- Operating a variety of Mills, Machining Centres and Lathes
- Training on a wide range of Heidenhain machines
- Weekly rotating shift pattern
- Week 1: 6am – 2pm Monday to Friday
- Week 2: 1.45pm – 11:30pm Monday to Thursday
The Person:
- Recently completed a college course, apprenticeship or similar that cover CNC Machining
- Commutable to York
